abstract="{The labour market in Poland is one of the most stable in Europe following the COVID-19 pande
mic and changes in the aspect of the war in Ukraine. Surveys conducted among entrepreneurs confirm
concerns about instability and turbulence in the economy but indicate optimism about the future and
development in the industries concerned. Despite personnel changes in the face of the war in Ukraine,
where, on the one hand, a large group of workers (mainly men) left Poland and, on the other hand, a group
of workers (mainly women) emerged who wanted to take up employment, the labour market in Poland
did not record significant changes. The pandemic contributed to changes in the Labour Code and the use
of remote working, which was highly anticipated by employees and employers. The pandemic conditions
pointed employers in the direction of development in human resources management.}",
