	abstract="{The aim of this article is to attempt to show the first contact and difficulties arising from the arrival of war immigrant students in Polish schools. After the outbreak of war in Ukraine on February 24, 2022, war immigrants, mainly women and children, arrived in Poland during the first few months. Overnight, a large group of students of different ages, with varying knowledge or no knowledge of the Polish language, with different traumas and experiences, appeared in Polish schools. Additionally, Polish schools were faced with a sudden change and the necessity of accepting war immigrant students.
