abstract="{The article addresses the issue of posthumous reproduction in the context of international law, bioethics, and medicine. This phenomenon, made possible by advances in assisted reproductive technologies, raises fundamental questions about the limits of individual autonomy, the protection of the dignity of the deceased, and the welfare of a child conceived after the death of one parent. The analysis is based on a dogmatic-legal and comparative approach to national regulations, the case law of the European
Court of Human Rights, and the ethical standards of medical organizations. The study indicates that the lack of uniform international regulations has led to divergent legal models – from restrictive to liberal – as well as inequalities and potential abuses in clinical practice. From a philosophical perspective, posthumous reproduction reveals tensions between autonomy, memory, and social solidarity, and its admissibility requires particular ethical caution and respect for the rights of all parties involved in the process.}",
