Abstract
EN Communication between people plays an important role in everyday life for people of all ages. The article presents the specificity of senior citizens communication skills and describes the changes in speech perception and in terms of speech planning, using vocabulary, specific communication phenomena: OTV (Off Target Verbosity) and TOT (Tip-of-the Tongue). The article also discusses the role of music in the lives of senior citizens, especially in preserving and improving cognitive and physical activity, which is the basis for proper communication.
