PL Autorzy, analizując bezpieczeństwo w ujęciu najnowszej nauki o bezpieczeństwie – securitologii, starają się argumentować, że jest ono osadzone zarówno na zagrożeniach, jaki wyzwaniach, zjawiskach negatywnych, jak i zjawiskach pozytywnych, metodach wojennych,jak i metodach pokojowych. Tym samym wskazują na dwie strony bezpieczeństwa związane z aktywnością destrukcyjną i konstrukcyjną. Pierwsza służy eliminacji i anihilacji tego, co zwie się zagrożeniem, bo budzi obawy, druga zaś wiąże się z konstrukcją i kreacją tego, co zwie się wyzwaniem, bo budzi nadzieję i pożądanie. O ile pierwsza daje się związać z wojną i metodą wojenną w kształtowaniu bezpieczeństwa, to druga wiąże się z pokojem i metodą pokojową. Taka argumentacja implikuje autorską propozycję poszerzenie teorii sekurytyzacji, która początkowo wiązała ją z zagrożeniami o wyzwania. Bowiem zdaniem autorów sekurytyzować można, przekonując zarówno do zagrożeń, budząc obawy oraz strach, jak i do wyzwań, budząc nadzieje i pożądanie. Zdanie to zdaje się być uzasadnione na gruncie securitologii postrzegającej bezpieczeństwo jako własność systemu osadzonego na „wojno-pokoju”, zagrożeniach i wyzwaniach oraz zjawiskach negatywnych i zjawiskach pozytywnych.

EN The authors, analyzing security in terms of the latest security science – securito logy – try to argue that it is based both on threats and challenges, negative and positive phenomena, methods of warfare and methods of peace. Thus, they indicate two sides of security related to destructive and constructive activity. The first serves the elimination and annihilation of what is called a threat because it causes fears, and the second one with the construction and creation of what is called a challenge because it evokes hope and desire. While the former can be associated with war and the method of warfare in shaping security, the latter is associated with peace and the method of peace. Such argumentation implies the author’s proposal to extend the theory of securitization, which initially associated it with threats with challenges. Because, according to the authors, securitization can be persuaded to both threats, arousing fears and fear, as well as challenges, arousing hope and desire. This sentence seems to be justified on the grounds of securitology, which sees security as the property of a system based on “war-peace”, threats and challenges, as well as negative and positive phenomena.
