Abstract
PL Niniejszy artykuł poświęcony został wyspecjalizowanej formacji o charakterze ofensywnym, jaką bez wątpienia jest piechota morska. W historii polskiej wojskowości niebieskie berety szczególnie znacząco zapisały się na kartach dziejów w latach 1958-1986, kiedy formalnie stanowiły wielką jednostkę sił zbrojnych PRL na szczeblu dywizji. Dywizja desantowa nie była tylko elitarną polską jednostką piechoty morskiej. Na szczeblu strategicznym w ramach struktur Układu Warszawskiego stanowiła ważny element sił zaczepnych, które w ramach polskiego korpusu desantowego miały opanować północne obszary RFN oraz Danii. Niniejszy artykuł zaznaczył także historię powstania tej specyficznej i elitarnej formacji zarówno na świecie, jak i w Polsce.
EN This article is devoted to a specialized offensive formation which is undoubtedly the marines. In the history of Polish military, the blue berets made a particulary signifcant con tribution to the history of the years 1958-1986, when they formalny constituted a great unit of the armed forces of the Polish People’s Republic at the division level. Marines division was not only an elite Polish unit of blue berets. At the strategic level, within the structures of the Warsaw Pact, it constituted an import ant element of the offensive for ces which, as part of the Polish landing force corps, were to conquer the Northem areas of Germany and Denmark. This article also marked the history of the creation of this specific and elite formation both In the Word and in Poland.
