PL Poetry as a literary genre occupies a specific place in human life, which depends on the role and meaning that the subject attributes to art. Education, and pedagogy with it, notice this place and justify it by the importance of poetry in the upbringing and full development of a human being. The author of the article shows the multiple determinants of such an impact of poetry on the student, and he sees the place of poetry in the word pedagogy of the word. It is because the pedagogy of the word can orient the entire professional and institutional education, teaching and upbringing, towards the world of values that is particularly threatened today.
