EN Changes taking place in the environment of Polish public organizations since the 1990s require adapting their functioning to new challenges faced by the civil service. Experts1 draw attention to the dissemination of a new image of administration, whose activities are determined to a small extent legally, and the key factors are progressing globalization, technological development and changes in labour markets. The aim of this article is to present the research conducted on the innovative concept and implemented activities throughout the years 2018-2023 in the civil service in the scope of age management as an element of diversity management. The study also presents the formal and legal conditions of the civil service in Poland, the place and role of the civil service corps and the theoretical approach to the concept of diversity management. The conclusion of the study indicates specific actions taken in the examined unit of the civil service corps. It is expected that the analysis carried out will contribute both theoretically and practically to the implementation of age management solutions in other units of the civil service, thus contributing to the full use of employees’ potential
