Abstract

EN This article aims to present trends in the development of two forms of social financing - crowdfunding and charitable collections - in Poland in the years 2016-2022. The study conducted an analysis of the dynamics of these initiatives, employing measures of absolute and relative growth rates, as well as individual indices (single-base and chain indices). A total of eleven organizations engaged in commercial and charitable fundraising were subjected to analysis, utilizing published financial reports and data from the National Court Register (KRS). The research findings significantly supplemented the gaps in information available on the internet platforms of these organizations and revealed intriguing trends in social mobilization dynamics.
