EN The relevance of this study lies in the fact that globalization transforms education into a key space of intercultural interaction where new models of communication, partnership, and social cohesion are formed. The growing cultural diversity in higher education requires a rethinking of the role of pedagogical support and the development of communicative culture as a fundamental element of global competence. The issues of integrating intercultural topics into curricula, increasing teachers’ intercultural sensitivity, and creating institutional mechanisms to overcome communicative challenges remain unresolved. The purpose of the article is to theoretically and empirically substantiate pedagogical approaches to minimizing cultural barriers in modern education and to determine their influence on the formation of communicative culture among participants in the educational process. The research methods include a comparative and analytical review of Ukrainian and foreign scientific sources, content analysis of empirical research results, generalization of pedagogical experience, as well as systemic, structural, and axiological approaches. The results reveal that cultural diversity should be regarded as a resource for the innovative development of the educational environment rather than an obstacle to communication. The study identifies a set of effective pedagogical approaches such as facilitation, project-based learning, cultural mediation, digital inclusion, and psychological and pedagogical support that ensure the formation of trust, empathy, ethical interaction, and tolerance. It is proven that communicative culture performs an integrative function within the system of global competence by combining cognitive, emotional, and value-based components. The practical significance of the obtained results lies in the possibility of applying the proposed approaches to improve educational programs, train teachers to work in multicultural environments, and promote cultural inclusion policies in higher education. Prospects for further research involve the development of diagnostic tools for measuring the level of communicative culture and assessing the effectiveness of intercultural educational strategies in digital learning formats
