EN The article presents a "synopsis" of one lesson, designed for 90 minutes for medical students of one Polish and Ukrainian medical university to learn how to write an authentic text of the epicrisis in German. Attention is drawn to the formal and linguistic side of this document. The author develops a system of exercises that should teach 164 medical students with a level of language training B 1 and B2 to draw up a doctor's medical report in German when the patient is released from the hospital. Medical students work with authentic German-language material from various hospitals in Germany. Attention is paid to the lexical and grammatical aspects of this type of text. Within this didactic unit, medical students also learn to talk to the patient when admitting the patient to the hospital (history taking).
