PL W artykule zestawiono szereg danych obrazujących produkcję odlewów z żeliwa szarego i sferoidalnego oraz ze staliwa, zarówno w skali światowej jak i w Polsce w latach 2000‑2019. W tym okresie czasu produkcja globalna wzrosła z ok. 65 mln ton do ok. 109 mln ton, zaś w Polsce z ok. 0,75 mln ton do ok. 1 mln ton. W analizie uwzględniono państwa należące do czołowych producentów odlewów w skali globalnej. Określono m.in. ich udziały w światowej produkcji odlewów, a także wielkości średniorocznego tempa zmian wielkości produkcji w analizowanym okresie czasu. Największym wytwórcą odlewów na świecie w roku 2019 były Chiny (blisko 45% udziału), podczas gdy w roku 2000 były to Stany Zjednoczone Ameryki Północnej (około 20% udziału). Udział Polski w globalnej produkcji w analizowanym okresie zmalał z ok. 1,2% do ok. 0,9%

EN The article presents a series of data illustrating the production of gray and ductile cast iron and steel castings, both on a global scale and in Poland in the years 2000‑2019. During this period, the global production increased from approx. 65 million tonnes to approx. 109 million tonnes, and in Poland from approx. 0.75 million tonnes to approx. 1 million tonnes. The analysis included countries belonging to the leading castings producers on a global scale. Among others, their shares in the world production of castings, as well as the size of the average annual rate of changes in the production volume in the analyzed period of time. The largest producer of castings in the world in 2019 was China (with almost 45% share), while in 2000 it was the United States of America (with about 20% share). The share of Poland in global production in the analyzed period decreased from approx. 1.2% to approx. 0.9%.
